When Jesus was proclaiming the Kingdom of God, He was preaching a relevant message. It was what people needed in their lives. We believe that it is our job to do what Jesus did in a way that is culturally relevant in our world today.
Lead Pastor
Josh Smith
Born and raised in California, Josh & Aurora Smith spent many years pastoring a church in California before moving to North Carolina in 2019 to follow God’s call to be the Pastors of Lake Norman Vineyard Church.
Josh and Aurora knew from the beginning that they were called into ministry. In fact, their story starts with the typical, “we met at a Bible study” beginning. While becoming friends, they still served together in worship and outreach. They began pastoring full-time in 2011 at Foothill Vineyard Church in CA. During that time, Josh finished his MA in Theology from Talbot School of Theology in La Mirada, CA.
In February 2019, after visiting and a lot of prayer, they packed everything up from CA and moved to Denver in June. They officially started leading the church on July 7th, 2019.
Josh and Aurora both have a passion for Jesus and calling people into the unique gifting and purpose that He’s given them.
Josh & Aurora have been married for 18 years and have three children, Joshua, Caleb & Abigail.
