Before Service
We love authentic community. When you visit Lake Norman Vineyard Church, you’ll be welcomed with warm smiles by friendly people. You’ll see people laughing, talking, hanging out, drinking coffee, or eating snacks & refreshments. You’ll instantly feel like part of the family.
Modern Worship
Service begins with Worship. For us, worship is a high value because we believe that God “inhabits the praises of His people.” (Psalm 22:3) This means that singing to God is one of the most effective ways to experience His presence. During worship you’re free to stand, sit, raise your hands, sing, or just close your eyes and listen.
We sing modern songs from today’s worship artists: Pat Barret, Phil Wickham, Hillsong, Passion, Bethel, Matt Brock, and more. Worship usually lasts about 25-30 minutes.
Engaging Message
Have you ever tried to read the Bible and it didn’t make sense? Have you ever been to a church where you wanted to go deeper into the Bible? Maybe you’ve been to a church where they wen’t too “deep” and the Bible didn’t seem relevant?
At The Vineyard we strive to balance all of these needs so that you can understand the Bible, go deeper into Scripture & theology, and make relevant applications to your daily life.
Pastor Josh is passionate about unpacking the story of Scripture so that it makes sense to everyone, going deeper into the historical & cultural context, and at the same time showing the Bible’s incredible relevance for our daily, 21st Century lives.
Listening to the Holy Spirit
After the message, we set aside time for you to receive prayer and to respond to whatever the Holy Spirit is doing. This means leaving space for Him to speak through words of knowledge, prophecies, and healings. (1 Corinthians 12) However, this is done in a casual, non-hyped up way. We never try to make anything happen, we just let the Holy Spirit move and follow His lead.
There’s no pressure to stay, but we make sure that we leave the space for you to receive more from God and connect more deeply with Jesus.
