Ministry with the Poor is not an option for followers of Jesus. Every year we set aside a special offering and designate those funds for ministry with the poor. Below are the different ways we serve the poor.
Local Partners
Love Denver is a completely free back-to-school event sponsored by local churches. Our mission is to meet the spiritual and physical needs of the community through the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We do this by providing free backpacks filled with school supplies, free kids’ haircuts, free lunch, sports physicals, medical screenings, prayer and faith resources, and so much more!
Heartbeats Women’s Center is a crisis pregnancy center here in Denver, NC. About 80% of women who are considering abortion, but have an ultrasound, choose life. 80%! In addition to ultrasounds they provide parenting resources to help moms and dads become great parents. That’s why we’ve partnered with Heartbeats to help save the unborn by helping to fund ultrasounds, provide care packages for moms and their kids, and more.

Isaiah 117 House provides a safe and welcoming environment for foster kids who have just been removed from their parents. Many of these children have not been fed, bathed, washed laundry, diapers, etc. Isaiah 117 House builds houses near the DSS offices that are fully equipped with kitchens, bedrooms, food, showers, washing machines, and even toys for the kids. In 2023 we decided to partner with Isaiah 117 House by funding a bedroom for their new house near Fort Mill, SC.

Convoy of Hope is a faith-based organization with a driving passion to feed the world through children’s feeding initiatives, community outreach, and disaster response.
We partner with Convoy Hope to bring hope to people through disaster relief. This includes people in countries and here in the US that have been hit hard by floods, storms, earthquakes, and other natural disasters.
